TEST CONSTRUCTION MODULE
- Robert Achanga |
This module on Test Construction is designed to develop and enhance skills and competencies in test development. Over the years, there have been limited resources on training in educational and psychometric measurement, leading to gaps in how tests administered in academic and professional institutions are developed. The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has created this module to bridge this gap.
This module is intended to be used by trainers at various levels and in different professional fields. Practicing teachers, trainers, and lecturers will find this module helpful when preparing assessment tools.
The participant will be expected to undertake 11 units, each comprising introductory remarks, expected learning objectives, training notes organized in various sub-topics, self-guided revision exercises, and assessments to measure attained skills. For further reading, some suggested references are indicated at the end of each unit.
